I'm Michael J. Rosa Owner / Inspector of Certified Home Inspections. I am a highly experienced N J State licensed professional home inspector that has been inspecting homes for the past ten years. I have been formally trained by the Home Inspection Institute of America, Inc. in Yalesville, CT., one of the finest home inspection schools in the country. The training is thorough and gave me the good, solid inspection techniques required to properly inspect a home. I use the reporting system which is available from the Institute. It is an industry trendsetter that provides my customers with detailed information about the home.
I am also a senior certified inspector through the Institute. This was obtained by a process, which required me to submit report copies annually over the past five years for review and critique, by the Institute. They review the reports to see that I am in compliance with ( and stay in compliance with ) the ethics and standards of the Institute. The reviews are very critical and help to keep me focused on being thorough.
In addition to being State licensed I am also certified by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in two categories, for termite and other wood destroying insects, and radon measurement. I realize that choosing the right home inspector can be very difficult. There are many variables in selecting an inspector. The level of the inspector's training, experience, equipment, and reporting methods, as well as pricing, can and will vary.
I would like you to know that I personally perform all of the home inspections and write all of the reports. I believe that this allows me to keep the quality and level of service to my customers very high. I request that if possible, you attend the inspection, as I will be able to explain my findings in detail to you. Your completed report will be mailed out to you on the next business day. I will also send a copy of the report to your realtor, attorney, or anyone else you wish. Ultimately, a thorough home inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector's own effort. If you honor me by allowing me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that you will receive my very best effort.
